I consider myself the chef of my classroom:
The classroom is my kitchen. The recipes are the lessons that I teach, which I can change by adding or subtracting ingredients to make them more appetizing. The students are like my helpers around the kitchen and their job is to follow the recipes and do so with my guidance to the best of their abilities. And like Gordon Ramsay I will yell and swear at my students. (just kidding). It is my job to provide the recipe, however my students are able to add their own touches to make each meal unique, The kitchen should organized, follow specific routines and their needs to be one person in charge to ensure chaos doesn’t ensue and that person is me, the head chef.
